Moodle offers the chance to set up a big variety of activities for the learners when you create your courses. Here is a list of some of the most popular:
Assignment: An activity using which a teacher can communicate tasks, collect students' work, and provide grades and feedback. Students can submit a variety of content files including video or audio and also type directly into the text editor. The final grades are recorded in the grade book.
Forum: The forum activity gives participants the ability to have asynchronous discussions. There are different forum types to choose from-e.g a standard forum where anyone can add a new discussion topic, a forum where each participant can post one discussion, a question and answer forum where students must first post before they can view other students' posts. The teacher can allow files to be attached to the post in the forum. Participants can subscribe to a forum to receive notifications of new posts. The subscription mode can be set to optional, forced, or auto or prevented altogether. A forum can be rated by teachers or students. Aggregated ratings can form a final grade recorded in the grade book. Forums are versatile and can be used in many ways - for announcements, discussions, support, etc.
Quiz: The teacher can create quizzes of various types like multiple choice, matching, short or long answer, numerical, and others. The settings arrangement can allow the students to attempt the quiz once or multiple times, questions can be shuffled and a time limit can be set. Each attempt is marked automatically with the exception of essay questions and the grade is recorded in the grade book. The teacher can also choose to provide hints, feedback, and correct answers. Quizzes can have a lot of uses: As mini-tests for reading assignments, course exams, self-assessment, exam practice or to deliver immediate feedback about performance
H5P: H5P gives the teacher the opportunity to create interactive content such as presentations, videos, questions, quizzes, and more. The questions are marked automatically and the grade is recorded in the gradebook.
